Set up a Supabase database for a new app

Creates a Supabase project in your organization and connects it to your app

When to use it

You're building a new app in Lovable and need a PostgreSQL database backend

Why it is worth it

Saves the manual setup of Supabase and connection steps, getting you to real queries faster

Before you start

  1. Create a new app in Lovable

The prompt

Create a Supabase project for my expense tracker app. I want the project in my 'Personal Workspace' organization and the us-west-2 region. Create these database tables: expenses (id, amount, category, description, date, created_at), categories (id, name, icon_color), budgets (id, category, monthly_limit, reset_date), and spending_log (id, expense_id, previous_total, new_total, timestamp). Connect the Supabase project to the app so it can store and retrieve expense data. Test the connection and show me that the app can query the expenses table and insert a new expense.

Use your organization, region, and table names to create a database for your own app.

What you get

A live Supabase project connected to your app, ready to store and query your app data
