Set a distinctive style with design keywords

Name a style direction with specific keywords in your prompt so Lovable designs everything consistently.

When to use it

You want to escape the default UI look and need a visual direction for every page.

Why it is worth it

Clear keywords guide all design choices at once, eliminating endless small tweaks later.

Before you start

  1. Create a new Lovable project
  2. Start in Build mode

The prompt

Design the daily journal app with radical minimalism. Use a pure white background, single centered column at 600 pixels max width, neutral tones only, and no decorative elements or shadows. The app stores journal entries per user. Steps: 1. Build a login screen with email signup. 2. Build an entries list showing title, date, and word count, sorted newest first. 3. Build an entry detail page showing full text with an edit button. 4. Build an edit form where users can update the entry text and save it. When done, show a journal entry in read mode and then in edit mode.

Swap the journal app for your own app and its fields.

What you get

You have a visually consistent app where every page belongs to the same design system.
